I started engraving a couple of years ago while I was training as a tattoo apprentice. I was inspired by the car scene—especially custom mirrors and taillights—and by tattoo artists who engraved their designs onto glass and metal. Even though I didn’t qualify as a tattooist, I found engraving as a way to keep creating: translating dark, tattoo-inspired artwork onto new surfaces with the same precision and tools. INKSCRBR is my way of blending those worlds—tattoo culture, custom cars, and gothic-inspired art—into pieces that feel personal and one-of-a-kind.

ITEMS I ENGRAVE:

Bespoke artwork inspired by tattoo styles and dark aesthetics. Ideal for prints, commissions or personal projects.

PRICING INFORMATION

My pricing is based on an hourly rate of £20 per hour, which includes both engraving and design time.

Final costs can vary depending on the complexity and size, and time required for the project.

Wherever possible, I prioritise upcycling and I can source items for you—mirrors and picture frames are typically bought from local charity shops or second-hand sources to keep costs reasonable, reduce waste and support a good cause.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

I currently accept the following payment methods:

  • Cash

  • Bank transfer

A non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your slot and start the design process. The remaining balance can be paid upon delivery.

If you have any questions or need to discuss alternative arrangements, feel free to let me know!

how to commission a piece

  • Start by filling out the commission form on my website—it asks for the basics like what item you’d like engraved, your ideas, and any reference images. If you prefer, you can also DM me on Instagram. The more info you share up front, the easier it is for me to bring your vision to life.

  • Once I’ve seen your request, I’ll get back to you to discuss design elements, surfaces, and sizing. From there I’ll provide a custom quote based on the complexity and estimated time needed.

  • When we’ve agreed on a design direction, I’ll ask for a deposit. This secures your slot, covers my design time, and, if needed, lets me source the base item (mirror, frame, Zippo, etc.).

  • After your deposit is in, I’ll sketch your design and send it over within 1–2 weeks depending on my current workload. You’ll have a chance to approve it or request tweaks before I start engraving. Once approved, the engraving itself usually takes 2–4 weeks depending on detail and size.

  • When your piece is complete, I’ll send final photos for approval. The remaining balance is due at this point, and then your piece will be ready for collection or delivery.

I can arrange shipping within the UK (and abroad for smaller items). Shipping costs depend on the size and weight of the piece, and while I’ll pack everything securely, couriers don’t insure mirrors or glass. Because of that, shipping is always at the buyer’s risk.

For larger or fragile pieces, I strongly recommend local collection wherever possible—it’s the safest way to make sure your artwork arrives in perfect condition.

 FAQs

  • Absolutely! You’re welcome to provide your own item, as long as the material is suitable for engraving. Please check in with me first about size and surface so I can confirm it’ll work. If you’re sourcing your own mirror, it must be free from cracks, chips, or deep scratches. Minor wear on frames is fine (and honestly, it can add character).

  • Timelines vary depending on detail and my current workload. On average, designs are sketched and approved within 1–2 weeks, and engraving itself takes around 2–4 weeks. I’ll always give you an estimated timeframe before we start, and keep you updated as I work.

  • Since each piece is custom-made, I do not offer refunds once the work has started. However, I ensure you’re happy with the design before any engraving begins.

  • Yes, I can arrange shipping within the UK (and abroad for smaller items). Costs depend on size and weight. Large or fragile items are best collected in person, as couriers don’t insure engraved glass or mirrors—so shipping is always at the buyer’s risk. I’ll pack securely on my end, but if you’re able to collect, I strongly recommend it.

  • Yes! If you have a set or collection in mind, feel free to reach out, and we can discuss a package deal or special pricing.

  • I do! In addition to commission pieces, I’ll also have one-off creations I make independently. You can find these pieces for sale in my Instagram story highlights. They are all bespoke, one-of-a-kind pieces and will not be repeated. DM me if you’re interested in one.
